3 Things to Look Forward to After the Exams

 

After weeks of study and the prospect of exams ahead, sometimes the best motivator is to look towards the end! So on that note, here are three things to look forward to after the exam series has reached its conclusion and you’re free:

1. Rest.

No matter how much you prioritise sleep and resting well, the exam season tends to exhaust even the most resilient among us! The prospect of rest and relaxation can be a huge comfort for a student living off coffee the majority of the time.

The reward for working hard to prepare for your exams is the prospect of passing them and then passing out afterward.

2. A return to normalcy.

Exams tend to take over a student's life. No more socialising, say goodbye to your friends, and look longingly at their social media posts during your ten minute study break. Oh, the solitude of a scholar in search of a degree!

Fear not, dear student! Part of what you should look forward to is a return to normal life - and that includes a normal social life as well! 

Remind yourself that the exam season is temporary. The hustle and bustle, bad sleep, and over-caffeination is not all that your life will hold from here on out. At this stage in the exam preparations, one tends to grow weary of study. Sometimes working toward passing an exam simply isn’t enough anymore, but remind yourself that if you do work hard during this final stretch of exam prep, then you are more likely to dodge the dreaded bullet called re-write exams.

There are many things to look forward to, there are many things that could help motivate you during this last little bit before the exams start.
